Meghan Markle releases statement after solo Thanksgiving appearance amid ‘professional separation’ from Prince Harry
Both have been spotted attending events individually in recent months, with their working relationship said to be “in a very bad state.”
Markle, 43, recently hosted a private dinner for the Southern California Welcome Project through the couple’s Archewell Foundation. Prince Harry, 40, did not attend the event. Both have been spotted attending events individually in recent months, with their working relationship said to be “in a very bad state.”
In a statement shared on the Archewell website, Meghan reflected on the “heartfelt dinner” she organised for Afghan women in collaboration with their partner organisation, Mina’s List.
“This initiative has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the US from Afghanistan,” the statement read.
The dinner featured a shared meal aimed at fostering open conversations on gratitude and resilience. Markle expressed her “deep appreciation” to the attendees for sharing their personal stories and cultural experiences, and plans to host similar gatherings in the future.
